  • WHAT TYPES OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE DO YOU OFFER OR ACCEPT FOR THOSE WHO QUALIFY?
    Financial assistance varies by location but, we offer/accept Federal Pell Grant Subsidized/Unsubsidized Federal Direct Stafford/Plus loans Vocational Rehabilitation Various assistance through the Veterans Administration Arkansas Rehabilitation* Arkansas Workforce Services* *Only accepted at Little Rock location
  • WHAT IF I WANT TO TRANSFER CREDITS FROM ANOTHER SCHOOL?
    Transfer students with previous hours/credits from a licensed school are accepted, however, BELBO Beauty Institute has discretion as to how many hours/credits will be accepted. Tuition charges are prorated according to the students need and hours required for successful completion of the course. Transfer hours from another institution that are accepted toward the student’s educational program are counted as both attempted and completed for the purpose of determining financial aid eligibility and maximum time- frame. Students must obtain a transcript from their previous school showing their attendance and level of accomplishment.

    The first step of the process is to call our admissions office to schedule an information session.   • DO YOU HELP WITH CAREER PLACEMENT?
    The curriculum places a great deal of emphasis on how to obtain and retain employment after graduation. The school maintains a professional relationship with leading salons in the local and surrounding areas. A current list of job openings is available to licensed graduates upon request from the Student Services Coordinator. BELBO Beauty Institute does not guarantee employment upon graduation. Recommended web sites include www.beautyschools.org, www.firstchair.com, www.behindthechair.com or www.naccas.org Graduates are encouraged to maintain contact with the school and follow-up with current employment information or employment needs.
  • DOES BELBO BEAUTY INSTITUTE OFFER SERVICES TO THE PUBLIC?
    Yes, BELBO Beauty Institute offers salon/spa services to the public. All work performed by students is supervised by a licensed instructor.   • DO YOU ACCEPT INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS?
    Yes. If a student is not a U.S. Citizen, documentation of eligible non-citizen status must be provided.
  • I WORK IN THE DAYTIME, DO YOU OFFER NIGHT CLASSES?
    Absolutely! Our Night classes start at 5:00PM and end at 10:00PM, Monday-Friday.
